Forever Greenery Approaching Perfection

I’ve been going through my stash of extra kits from past classes I’ve had and decided to take those kits and remake them in a different way than I made them for the classes.  I hope you enjoy them and get some inspiration to make some cards and make someone’s day when you send them out.

Supplies & Measurements:

  • Stamp sets:
    • Approaching Perfection
  • Cardstock:
    • Old Olive 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
    • Whisper White 4″ x 5-1/4″ for insert & 1″ x 3-1/2″
  • DSP:
    • Forever Greenery – Make sure to use different pieces
      • (1) 1″ x 5-1/2″
      • (2) 1-3/4″ x 1-3/4″
  • Ink:
    • Old Olive
    • Shaded Spruce
  • Bling:
    • Light Green Rhinestones
  • Adhesive:
    • Stampin Up Dimensionals
    • Multi-purpose liquid glue

Directions:

  • I started out with the card base in Old Olive – 8-1/2×5-1/2 folded in half.
  • Next was stamping the sentiment in Shaded Spruce and the candles in Old Olive on both white cardstock pieces.  I glued the insert on the inside and used Dimensionals for the sentiment on the outside
  • I took the long piece of DSP and tore it in half. I used one side on the top of the card and flipped it over for the bottom, using glue to adhere both of them in place.
  • I attached the squares with dimensionals.
  • Blinged it up with light green rhinestones.

I like to make sure the inside doesn’t look naked and add a little bit of stamping.  It’s so much more eye appealing to me, how about you?  What do you do for the inside of your cards?  Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks,

BessMarie
